  • Volunteers are expected to commit at least 2 hours a week per month to mentoring relationship

  • Volunteers must submit a background check (provided with application)

  • Must complete full orientation

  • Volunteers are welcome as Guest Speakers, per availability (If not able to commit to 2 hours a per month consistently)

Available Positions:

Student Outreach Coordinator

Are you passionate about education and community engagement? This role involves reaching out to various community organizations via phone calls and emails to encourage students to attend our programs.  Additionally, you'll provide support throughout the registration process. No prior experience is required as training will be provided.

Fundraising & Sponsorship Associate

Interested in fundraising or gaining experience in this field? As part of this role, you'll reach out to past donors and potential corporate sponsors via email and phone. Additionally, you'll contact local businesses and colleges for in-kind donations. Rest assured, training and necessary contacts will be provided, and prior experience is not required.

Program Director

Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of our organization's impactful programs. This leadership role is pivotal in driving our mission forward and delivering positive change in the community. As Program Director, you will collaborate with a dedicated team and stakeholders, ensuring program excellence and alignment with organizational goals.

Regional Program Director

Oversees and coordinates the implementation of programs across designated regions. They will work closely with local teams, ensuring program success, and adapting strategies to suit regional needs. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in program management or related fields is preferred.

Grantwriting Specialist

 This position involves identifying and composing grant proposals for 5 Principles Foundation. Training will be provided, and prior experience is not necessary.

Accountant

If you're an accountant looking to contribute your skills to a non-profit, we have an opportunity for you. In this role, you'll be responsible for generating financial statements and budgets for 5 Principles Foundation based on guidance from the board. A degree in Accounting or Finance is required, and CPA status is preferred but not mandatory.

Public Relations Assistant

Join our team to help promote 5PF through press releases, media outreach, and inviting celebrities to participate in our events. Training will be provided, and no previous experience is necessary.

Social Media Coordinator

Love being active on social media? Help us build our online presence by creating engaging posts for our Facebook and Twitter pages. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.

Blogger

Are you skilled in writing and enjoy sharing your thoughts? Join our team as a blogger to create articles for 5 Principles Foundation website and social media platforms. You can also recruit guest bloggers to contribute to the blog. Prior writing experience is preferred, but training will be provided.

Publications Editor

In this role, you'll be responsible for creating our monthly E-Newsletter to keep our community informed and engaged. Online software will be provided, and no prior experience is needed.

Event Coordinator

If you love planning and hosting events, this position is for you! As an Event Coordinator, you'll be responsible for organizing occasional socials and events for team members, donors, board members, alumni, and supporters. Prior experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
